➜ New Norwegian super users
In our recent PPG Master Applicator III course, we had the pleasure of spending 3 full days with 7 skilled Norwegian participants; all customers of our Norwegian distributor C.Christoffersen.
The Master Applicator III (MA3) is an expert course in the repair of advanced basecoats such as three-layer and matt colours, where the participants are trained to perform even the most difficult repairs quickly and efficiently.
At the course, PPG Product & Training Manager, Peter Boelsmand, and Norwegian PPG technician Jon Harald Damlien, taught the experienced paint technicians a number of different processes differentiating from standard processes. The procedures included the application of three-layer tinted clear coat and fade-out of this, as well as Mazda 46G, containing a special alu pigment T4705, and fade-out of this. T4705 is a very fine alu pigment, which requires using a special process to apply and master fade-out.
In addition, the course covered Nissan KAB/Mercedes Alubeam; a color with pure T4705 alu pigment.
As 3 of the course participants had completed all 3 MA3 courses, they were awarded with a PPG Master Applicator certificate – congratulations! Due to the high level of skills acquired, all three MA3 holders are now able to act as the workshop’s internal PPG super user.
We must say; it is always a pleasure having our skilled Norwegian customers for training courses. They always come with high spirits, dedication and a willingness to share experiences for the benefit of everybody.
