Master Applicator3 Course successfully completed

Theory and practice all came together in the latest Master Applicator3 (MA3) course tutored by Jon Harald and Peter Boelsmand from PPG Refinish.

This time, Ole Anton Brekke came to the Nordic Training Center in Søborg, DK, with his customers from Brekke AS to do the third course in the series of MA courses, MA3.

The participants have now successfully completed all 3 MA courses - and got a PPG award to prove it! :-)

Special processes covered – Peugeot matt structure

MA3 is a 2-day training covering a range of special processes – this time related to Peugeot matt structure. Peter Boelsmand and Jon Harald took the participants through the processes of ensuing the correct finish, structure and color match.

Practical exercises - 3-layer tinted clear coat

In addition, the course also covered 3-layer application of tinted clear coat. The practical exercise was performed with Ford Ruby Red, including training of fade-out processes and color match.

Is it very important to know the process in order to get it right. And the participants were dedicated to learning – full concentration from both instructors and participants!

Handling of light pastel colors

The course also included fade-out training of light pastel colors.

Networking and sharing of experiences ✔ The training courses are naturally about training and learning new processes etc., but it is also about networking and sharing ideas and experiences amongst participants. The Norwegian participants did a good job both participating actively in the training exercises and openly sharing their everyday experiences, challenges and solutions.
